Cypress Community Festival 柏樹市週年紀念慶祝嘉年華
The Cypress Community Festival takes place annually on the last Saturday of July. It celebrates the incorporation of the City of Cypress, originally known as Dairy City — there were more cows than people! The 2019 Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival will be held at Marine Stadium (5255 E. Paoli Way, Long Beach, CA 90803) in Long Beach on July 27, from 9am to 6pm and July 28, from 9am to 3:30pm. In addition to hosting one of the largest dragon boat competitions in California, there will be Chinese traditional art demonstrations, Chinese Acrobats, traditional dance, hip hop, music and martial arts performances. Seems it only just started! This is the closing weekend of the Ventura County Fair. This fair has been around since the '70s—the 1870s, that is. Ventura's biggest event of the summer promises concerts, a rodeo, carnival rides, horse shows, livestock displays, and a youth expo.Tickets can be purchased in advance for a savings of $1 per ticket. The annual International Surf Festival takes place in Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach, with competitions in surfing, running, lifeguard dory races, sand soccer, bodysurfing, volleyball, paddleboard swimming, and more. Participants range in age from 8 years old to the late 80’s. The Corn Festival is the signature event for the La Habra Host Lions Club. It has been a success for decades and continues to be the highlight of the social calendar in La Habra.
