Bunka Sai Japanese Cultural Festival
11 am to 5 pm Torrance Sister City Association (TSCA) presents its 45th annual Bunka-Sai Japanese Cultural Festival. This annual event features authentic demonstrations of Japanese dance, koto and shakuhachi music, traditional vocal music, taiko drums, shodo calligraphy, and origami. "Whale of a Day" is a festival celebrating the migration of the Pacific Gray Whale from its summer feeding grounds in the Bering and Chuchki Seas in Alaska to the winter breeding and calving grounds in Baja California.
