Who needs snow? In Hermosa Beach, families can make their snowmen out of sand. This is a free, all ages, event open to the entire community. Registration begins at 9am; judging starts around 11:15am. Families are encouraged to bring their own tools and decorations to create their "Sand Snowman." Free goody bags for kids while supplies last. Prizes will be rewarded for the winners of the varying categories.
