The Great Pumpkin Hunt
A fall tradition returns to the South Coast Botanic Garden. Guests search for pumpkins while enjoying the Garden’s 87 acres. Participants explore picturesque areas of the Garden in search of hidden pumpkins, leading to unexpected finds. Searchers should wear walking shoes and bring a water bottle and sunscreen for the trek through the 87-acre Garden.

This four-day boating event features boats of all types along with 60 booths offering accessories and gadgets, educational seminars, as well as food trucks and a craft beer garden. Expect to see including trawlers, cruisers, sportfishers, sailboats, catamarans, motoryachts, dockage, tenders, and paddleboards. Youth 12 and younger accompanied by an adult are free. America's Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College invites community members to experience the zoo free of charge this weekend. During the annual "Community Appreciation Day" guests can experience wild animal encounters and presentations throughout the weekend. There are food trucks and vendors set up at the event, along with additional activities such as big cat feedings and animal training demonstrations by students.

Hollywood Forever Cemetery offers a unique location to see outdoor movies, as Cinespia presents classic films on Saturdays throughout the summer. The films are projected onto the walls of a mausoleum, which houses the earthly remains of departed Hollywood luminaries. Bring blankets, drinks and picnic dinner. 11am - 4pm Kidspace's annual Rubber Ducky Races are held in September this year. Kids can decorate and then race rubber duckies. Rubber ducks are available for purchase in the Busy Bee Learning Store; no outside ducks can be used to ensure that all races are fair with the same shape and weight of each rubber duck. Races run every half hour from 11am to 4pm. Race participation is first-come, first served, with 20 children per race. Guests can play in the Arroyo between races.…
