Thousands are expected to gather in Pershing Square for the March for Science—a celebration of science that is not only about scientists and politicians, but about the very real role that science plays in each of our lives. Palos Verdes' annual festival celebrating the migration of the Pacific gray whale is held on the main grounds of the Point Vicente Interpretive Center and at the adjacent lighthouse.
