Coppelia (Long Beach Ballet)
Welcome to the Long Beach Ballet Academy, Celebrating its 36th Anniversary as one of Southern California’s leading classical ballet institutions. Every Lakeshore Learning Store hosts free crafts for kids every Saturday. Upcoming Schedule: May 26: Hot Air Balloon Fun In addition to the West Los Angeles store, Lakeshore Learning has locations in Carson, Northridge, Pasadena, Fountain Valley, Upland and Ventura. The West LA store ONLY holds the event on both Saturdays and Sundays. Reminder: The West Los Angeles store is in a NEW LOCATION: 2323 S. Sepulveda Blvd., (just off Pico).

Michaels hosts a free slime event at its stores. Participants customize their own celebration slime. Pre-made slime is provided. Age 3 and up welcome. No registration required. First come, first served. Participants should arrive in enough time to complete project prior to 3 pm.

Figat7th invites kids to travel back to 14th Century China and create a delicately designed cobalt blue and white plate. Kids’ Club Art workshops are free and held on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month from 2pm - 4pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
