Souza Insurance presents The Santa Anita Park Inaugural Bulldog Derby! The Ultimate Bulldog Meet-Up!

On January 19th, 2019, at the Santa Anita Park race track, in Arcadia, CA, bulldog owners and their bullies are invited to dress in their absolute best as they gather together to celebrate the Bulldog breeds. This event/meet-up will “Kentucky Derby-themed”. There will be food, entertainment, contests & giveaways, photo ops, special guest appearances, and lastly, the main event: The Bulldog Derby, where English/British and French bulldogs will compete to see who will be the fastest bulldog in all of California.

With the help from The Bulldog Club of Southern California, Christine Duran, and our sponsors & vendors, this special occasion is being held to help benefit the SoCal Bulldog Rescue, by raising money as well as help their bulldogs find love and furever homes.

The mission of Southern California Bulldog Rescue is to rehabilitate and find loving families for homeless bulldogs. Our goal is to provide the care and time needed to prepare unwanted bulldogs for placement. We pledge to do our best to make sure they have a good life.
