Joshua Tree National Park Night Sky Festival – NIGHT ONE

11/10/2017 - 11/11/2017

5:30 PM – 9 PM

Sky’s the Limit is proud to be part of the 3nd annual Joshua Tree National Park Night Sky Festival.
Several telescopes will be set up observing an array of fascinating objects in the night sky. Observe star clusters and nebulae in the Milky Way and our nearest galactic neighbor, the Andromeda Galaxy. We will also observe the colorful orange and blue double star Albireo in Cygnus.

Please note that our campus can only accommodate about 500 people and more than that indicate they’re coming these nights! Be patient and remember that other Saturdays will be considerably less crowded for telescope viewing.

Prominent constellations:
Cygnus (the Swan), Delphinus (the Dolphin), Pegasus (the Winged Horse), Lyra (the Harp), Cassiopeia (the Seated Queen), Andromeda (the Princess)

*** Sky’s the Limit Observatory does NOT allow camping on our property. We also do not allow pets, smoking, or alcohol.
