Welcome to our web site, the headquarters for the 2017 Holiday Parade of Boats in Los Angeles Harbor. This annual parade, celebrating the 55th year with the theme ‘Peace Around the World,’ marks the start of the Holiday Season here in the harbor. LA County Supervisor Janice Hahn, representing the 4th District is this year’s Grand Marshal. The Exy Johnson and Irving Johnson, the official Tall Ships and Maritime Ambassadors of the City of Los Angeles along with vessels of all shapes and sizes will participate including powerboats, sailboats, and harbor working craft.

Entries will be judged and trophies awarded for various classifications, such as          Originality, Theme, Type of Entry and more. The parade will again be televised via          LA36,  Los Angeles Community Television cable channel. Home viewers may also watch the parade on Los Angeles CityView Channel 35. For air times, visit          www.lacityview.org.

The parade will be held on Saturday, December 2nd beginning at 6 PM in the Port’s East Basin. Viewing locations along the parade route, located in Wilmington, the San Pedro waterfront, Ports O’ Call, Warehouse #1, California Yacht, Cabrillo Way and Holiday Harbor Marinas and more (click here for a map of the parade route), will afford spectators unencumbered views of the elaborately decorated boats and the opportunity for friends and family to join in the celebration, whether taking advantage of the many restaurants and clubs at Ports O’ Call or organizing an informal pot-luck.

Join us in making the 55th L.A. Harbor Holiday Afloat parade truly “Spectacular” as we celebrate the beginning of the holiday season in the nation’s largest international trade gateway.
