Every spring Lancaster celebrates the vibrant orange poppy, California’s state flower.

More than 45,000 people are expected to attend this event that features performers, food, and exhibits. Entertainment can be found on four stages featuring musical acts, dancers, vocalists, ethnic music, and dance. Kids can enjoy the Adventure Zone, featuring animal conservation and education shows.

Keep in mind, Lancaster is a desert environment, so be sure to bring sunscreen and sunglasses and drink a lot of water. Event is rain or shine
