Each time the seasons change, the Griffith Observatory presents brief talks at  local noon (in the Gottlieb Transit Corridor) and sunset (on the West Terrace).

These events marking spring and fall equinox are free and open to the public.

*NOTE: Local noon is the time each day when the Sun is at its highest point in the sky. It is not the same as 12:00 noon. Please check the Observatory’s home page for the daily time of local noon.
