Birdwatching for Young Children and Parents
Santa Monica Bay Audubon Society presents a morning of birdwatching. Adult Walk 8:30 a.m. – Beginner and experienced, 2-3 hours. 40-75 species depending on season. We look at everything during this leisurely walk to the beach. Species range from 40 in June to 60-75 during migrations and winter. The Bunny Museum has for Christmas on the afternoon at its new Altadena location, inviting visitors to hop on over to feed the bunnies their Christmas dinner. The Christmas tree is decorated with bunny ornaments, carrot-colored lights, and carrot-colored candy canes. Other highlights include the big bunny "Roller" and the 14-foot Rose Parade Float. No purses, bags, coats, nor hats are allowed inside. Lockers available $1. Street parking.
