Our Policies



Shipping Policy
La JaJa Collection offers standard USPS Ground shipping on most products shipped within the 48 contiguous United States. Some items may also be shipped via UPS or Fedex at our discretion.

Shipping and Handling Charges
At La JaJa Collection, shipping and handling charges are based on the following:
• The delivery option you choose
• The weight, size and dimensions of your items
• Your shipping preferences



At Checkout
Estimated Delivery Dates – We’ll process your order within 48 hours. On average, most in stock orders are delivered in 7-10 days. Some deliveries may take less time.

To determine the date you'll receive your order, use the following calculation:
• (Availability) + (Shipping Method) = Estimated Delivery Date
• Availability is defined as the processing time it takes an order to leave our warehouse
• Shipping Method is defined as Standard Delivery and Express Delivery
Please note: there is no weekend delivery or pickup service for express option. Selecting Express Delivery is a speedy way to get your order to you; however, it doesn’t mean you will receive your order in one or two days. Please keep in mind that it takes time depending upon processing time to have your order leave our warehouse. Strandard Delivery takes 3-7 business days

We will send you email notification after your order was process. A tracking number of your shipment will be included in your email. Please track your package online or on the phone with the carrier. Most companies can provide an estimated delivery date. Be sure to contact us if anything seems unusual with the progress of the shipment.



Shipping Methods
Regular Freight - Whenever possible we will ship smaller, lighter items by USPS. Depending on how close you are to the shipping warehouse, your item will arrive between 2 to 7 business days after it leaves our warehouse. We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the shipping company.

Truck Freight - Many items are too large or too heavy to ship using Regular Freight. Truck freight is different than standard UPS, FedEx or USPS in that you will be responsible for carrying the product from the back of the truck into your house (or wherever it's going). Via Truck Freight you will be contacted by the shipping carrier to schedule a delivery appointment. Most companies offer appointment windows (usually 2-4 hours) between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday.



Damaged Shipments
All shipments must be thoroughly inspected at time of delivery before signing for the product. The driver is required to wait while you inspect the product.



Visible Damage
If upon receipt of your package you see visible damage, or suspect concealed damage, you must carefully unpack and inspect the product before signing the bill of lading. If you determine the product is damaged, please reject the shipment and contact us immediately. Your replacement will be shipped as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) for shipments that have been refused by the buyer due to damage. If you find the item to be in satisfactory condition, you should accept the item and make note of the visible damage on the bill of lading.



Concealed Damage
If your item has concealed damage and you did not make a note on the bill of lading, you MUST contact us within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays). Shipments that have been accepted, but have concealed damage will take longer. These shipments may require an inspection by the freight company. Replacements for these shipments will be made after the inspection has been accepted by the freight company.

 

 

 



Refusal of Delivery
If an order is refused NOT due to damage, the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs plus any other costs that occur during the process of delivery back to La JaJa Collection.



Damaged/Lost Merchandise
La JaJa Collection is not responsible for packages lost or damaged during the shipping process. The customer is responsible for contacting La JaJa Collection and we will contact the shipping carrier regarding lost or damaged packages. La JaJa Collection is unable to accept cancellations as a result of damaged or lost merchandise.



Defective
La JaJa Collection is committed to providing top quality merchandise and will work closely with our manufacturers to ensure product integrity. However, should you receive an item that is defective, please contact the appropriate manufacturer directly for all product warranties, defects and repair issues.



Incorrect Shipping Information
If a package is returned to La JaJa Collection due to an incorrect shipping address provided by a customer, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost as well as the redelivery cost. If a package is delivered incorrectly or lost due to incorrect shipping information, La JaJa Collection is not responsible.



Shipping Delays
La JaJa Collection is committed to fulfilling orders within the timeframe specified on product pages. However, from time to time, there may be manufacturer delays beyond our control. If you do not receive your order tracker number within the time frame specified, don't panic. Everything is probably fine and you will receive your order shortly. Since some items ship directly from our suppliers, delays in sending your tracking confirmation may occur, even though the order has shipped.

In cases, an item may go out of stock after your order has been placed. We will contact you via email to notify you of the circumstance. Product substitutes will be offered, whenever possible. If we are unable to fulfill the order, you will be promptly refunded.



Return Policy
At La JaJa Collection, your satisfaction is our first priority. If, within 30 days you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return any item in New, Unopened and Unused Condition for a refund excluding Shipping and Handling Fees.

The following policies apply to all returns:
• An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns.
• Returns with the original purchase receipt will be exchanged or refunded in the original tender.
• Returns with a gift receipt will be exchanged or refunded with a merchandise credit for the value indicated on the gift receipt.
• We cannot accept returns of final-sale items.
• A restocking fee of 25% apply to all furniture returned items.

How to return an item
To return or exchange an item, complete the Return Form attached to the invoice or gift receipt that accompanied your purchased merchandise. In the appropriate box on the Return Form, indicate the reason for the return and the action to be taken: replacement or merchandise credit. Place the Return Form in the box with your merchandise.

• To return an item you must email info@lajajakids.com to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number. • Products received without an RMA Number will be refused.
• Place the original package into a shipping carton.
• Include the original receipt and the return from for the return.
• Please do not place stickers or shipping labels on the original manufacturer's package.
• The RMA Number must be clearly written on the outer box.
• Ship via insured ground service with a tracking number.
• Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
• We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
• If these conditions are not met, La JaJa Collection reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a restocking fee of 25% or more.
• All returns must be received within 14 days of issuance of your authorization. Items must be in new and unused condition, free from any damage, unopened and returned in its original packaging.
• All documentation, parts, warranties, and accessories need to be included with the returned merchandise to receive a full refund.
• In the instance where La JaJa Collection sent the wrong item or is at fault for some other reason, La JaJa Collection will pay for the shipping and handling charges.
• If we’re unable to make your requested exchange we’ll send you refund for the value of the return merchandise.



Tips & Reminders
• We’ll process your return within 7 days of receipt, though it will take longer to appear on your statement. If you provided an email address we’ll notify you via email when your return has been received and processed.
