While preparing frantically, and joyfully, for my son's upcoming high school graduation, we received a letter from my son's past.

When I first saw the clumsy cursive handwriting on the envelope, it brings back the sweet memory of my boy's homework back in his elementary school years.  Then I suddenly realized that the letter was actually written by him, but it was written 8 years ago.

The letter was written on the eve of his 5th grade elementary school graduation, and was addressed to himself.  His teacher actually had the heart and efforts to keep all these letters for TEN years and then mail them back to these kids at the eve of their high school graduation.

How warm and lovely it is to hear once again your child's boyish "voice", as he described his friendship, dream of growing up and view of the world.  It is with such sweet sorrow that I have a admit that my little boy has evolved into a young adult.   But when I look at him, I somehow still see that little goofy boy with sparkly eyes behind that deep voice and strong body build, as he is always my little one deep in my heart...
