今日我們的小朋友大多生長在優渥環境中，從來未曾體驗過貧窮和飢餓的滋味，更無法想像失學和戰亂的可怕，所以這個體驗計畫特別有意義，它藉由親身參觀和體驗三個落後國家的貧窮孩童的居住環境，以案例的形式讓觀眾現場感受他們的艱苦和無助，三個國家包括菲律賓、烏拉圭和瓜地馬拉，看完以後，我們強力建議家長與小朋友討論感受和心得，並想出可以幫助這些貧童的辦法，絕對是非常有意義的親子教育活動！

Take an interactive tour of life in the developing world.

This free event features an interactive journey through the true stories of children living in developing countries like the Philippines, Kenya, Uganda and the Dominican Republic.

In over 2,000 square feet of interactive exhibit space, visitors will step inside homes, markets and schools — without getting on a plane. Each child’s story starts in poverty but ends in hope.
