Purr-fect!  The Santa Monica Library celebrates Caturday with a fun-filled day of cat-tivities and real kitties.

The day starts with storytime in the Children’s Activity Room, with cat stories, kitty songs and feline fingerplays.  (10:30am)

Guests can visit the Catty Wagon to cuddle rescued kittens, and maybe find a fur-ever feline friend in this mobile adoption vehicle created just for cats. ( 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, Library parking lot)

Other fun includes decorating cat ears for yourself and making a feathery cat toy, (supplies limited) (North Courtyard)(11am to 1pm); getting tips on choosing the right pet for your family from Santa Monica Animal Shelter staff. (North Courtyard)(11am to 1pm),  and a screening of Kedi, an award-winning documentary about cats that roam freely through Istanbul, (1pm,  MLK Jr Auditorium) (Tickets required: Free tickets distributed at noon).
