Join Moms Demand Action South Bay for a family friendly Popsicles in the Park event in honor of Wear Orange. Wear Orange is an annual recognition of National Gun Violence Awareness Day when we ask millions of Americans to wear orange to signify their belief that we can do more to save American lives from gun violence. The color orange comes from hunting culture and symbolizes the American heritage of responsible gun ownership and importance of protecting human life. At the event, you can also learn more about Moms Demand Action/Everytown for Gun Safety’s missions and learn how to get involved and make our communities and country safer. There is plenty of free parking around Recreation Park. Meet us in the large grassy central area – we look forward to welcoming you!
