《星球大戰》（Star Wars），又譯星際大戰，又稱星戰或星際戰爭，是美國導演兼編劇喬治·盧卡斯所構思拍攝的一系列科幻電影。 同時「星球大戰」也是該系列電影最早拍攝上映的四部曲故事的原始片名。

該片描寫在很久以前的一個遙遠的銀河系，肩負正義使命感的絕地武士與帝國邪惡黑暗勢力作戰的故事。 絕地武士是一群有著非凡天賦的人，經由各種篩選，他們在幼年即開始接受嚴格特殊訓練，其宗旨是認識和使用“原力”（Force）。 訓練有素的絕地武士有極強的意志力可以使用無所不在的“原力”來維護銀河間的和平。 比如，控制意志較弱人的思想，甚至可以預感將要發生的事情，所以絕地武士有著非凡的戰鬥能力。

Lawrence Kasdan, Jason McGatlin, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller serve as executive producers. Jonathan Kasdan & Lawrence Kasdan wrote the screenplay.
