DESCRIPTION:7 AM - 11 AM\n\nJoin the City of Monterey Park\, Monterey Park Environmental Commission\, and Bike San Gabriel Valley on a family-friendly community bike ride in celebration of Earth Day! The ride will be guided by ride marshals as well as the Monterey Park Police Department. \n\nREGISTRATION\nThe rides are free but pre-registration is recommended\, sign up via the Eventbrite link. Register in advance and you'll be entered into a raffle. You can also register at the event.\n\nEVENTS\n7:00 AM - 8:30 AM Onsite registration\n8:00 AM Hill Challenge Ride (self guided\, route will be marked)\n9:00 AM Family Friendly Ride (guided)\n\nROUTE: 8 miles\, map will be up shortly.\n\nPARKING: Free parking on neighborhood streets and at City Hall.\n\nSAFETY\n-NO TRAINING WHEELS\n-Pets are welcome to join but you will be responsible for taking care of them. Please keep dogs on a leash.\n-Participants 17 years old or younger must wear a helmet. They should also be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.\n-Please drink plenty of water the night before and also remember to bring a water bottle to the ride.\n-Eat a light breakfast on the day of the ride.\n-BikeSGV will have sunscreen and water so you can refill your bottles.\n
