DESCRIPTION:SIZE AND SCOPE:  In recent past\,  the parade has involved more than 120 veterans groups\, numerous high school marching bands and the San Diego-based Navy Band Southwest.   All wartime eras will be specifically represented.\n\nLOCATION: The parade will begin at the corner of Laurel Canyon Blvd. and San Fernando Mission Blvd\, proceed down Laurel Canyon Blvd.1.1 miles and culminate at the Ritchie Valens Recreation Center and Park\, 10736 Laurel Canyon Blvd.\, Pacoima\, CA 91331 (corner of Laurel Canyon Blvd. and Paxton St.). There will be a carnival at the Ritchie Valens Recreation Center.\n\nTIME/DATE: 11:11am\, November 11th.  The parade will begin precisely at the eleventh minute of the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month – the official kick-off of Veterans day.
