DESCRIPTION:The Irvine Police Department will host its annual Open House on October 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Irvine Civic Center. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with Police Officers\, meet K9s Kenny and Barrett\, interact with the horses of the Mounted Unit\, and more. A tour of the Department gives attendees a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to keep Irvine safe.\n\nBounce houses and activities for kids are sure to be a hit with the little ones. Food trucks will be onsite with items available for purchase. The event is free.\n\nResidents are encouraged to ride their bikes to the event and participate in the bike rodeo. Parking is available at Woodbridge and Creekside High Schools\, with free shuttle service to the event.
