We will also have New Year’s activities and art for our little ones to enjoy!\n\nTimes: See Activity Times Below…\n\nTwas’ the day before New Year’s and all through the city the citizens are stirring and buzzing about! With sparkling streamers\, blowouts\, noise makers\, and confetti that will make this the party of all parties!\n\n“It’s Midnight Somewhere” Confetti Countdown Times:\n\nSesame Street Countdown Clock\n\n11:00 a.m.   (Dhaka\, Bangladesh) (Member’s Only Countdown)\n\n12:00 p.m.    (Dubai\, United Arab Emirates)\n\n2:00 p.m.      (Athens\, Greece)\n\n4:00 p.m.      (London\, England)\n\n\tSmart Art: We will be making Noon-Year’s eve noise makers\, working with the numbers 1-12\, and making your very own Noon-Year’s eve party crowns to take home.\n\n\tNoise Makers – Come make a noise maker for our Noon-Year’s Eve Countdown.\n\tParty Crowns– Join us in one of our community rooms to make and decorate a party crown!\n\n\n\nGrown-up Tip: When your child sees the New Year’s Eve ball and asks\, “What’s that?” don’t give a quick answer. Try asking: “what do you think it is?” Explore the object together using descriptive words to determine what it is. This allows your child to experiment with ideas and use critical thinking skills. They will get a thrill once they see the clock strike midnight and the ball light up.
