DESCRIPTION:The 20th Annual Chumash Day Powwow will celebrate Native Americans from all over the country\, representing hundreds of tribes who will gather at Malibu Bluffs Park.\n\nNative American food\, craft vendors\, tribal ceremonies\, and dances will be a part of the event on both days.  This is a non-competitive Powwow.\n\nADMISSION\nThe Powwow is open to all ages. Admission is free.\n\nPARKING\nThere is no public parking onsite at Bluffs Park. Parking and shuttle service to and from the event will be available at the corner of Webb Way and Civic Center Way.\n\nHandicap parking spaces are very limited onsite. A handicap-accessible shuttle that can accommodate wheelchairs will be available at the offsite parking lot at Webb Way and Civic Center Way. For assistance or additional information prior to the event\, call 310-456-2489 ext. 239.\n\nWEATHER\nThe Powwow will occur rain or shine. In the event of a serious downpour or other hazardous weather condition\, such as lightning and thunder\, the event may be stopped for a period of time or canceled. Cancellations will be reported at 310-317-1364.
