DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the Recreation and Community Services Department  Join us for the sweet sounds of summer in the City of Monterey Park at the Barnes Park Amphitheater.  Free concerts will begin at 6 p.m.  Sunday\, June 10: Bulletproof Soul (R&B\, funk and top 40).   Wednesday\, July 4: Free Independence Day live entertainment and fireworks show (live entertainment begins at 5 p.m.).  ​Sunday\, August 12: Cold Duck (grooving rhythms). ​ ​The amphitheater is located in Barnes Park at the corner of Ramona and Harding Avenues.
