Pow! Crash! Boom!  Getting comic books for free is … super!

The first Saturday in May each year is set aside as Free Comic Book Day – a day when everyone receives a free special-edition comic book.  (Free comic books are limited to the special editions created especially for this promotion).  Many local stores allow readers to take several comics; guidelines vary by store

Free Comic Book Day is a nationwide event, and kids (small and grown) can stop by any participating comic store location to receive their free comic(s). Among the titles available in 2019 are:  Avengers, Doctor Who – The 13th Doctor, Pokemon, Disney Descendants, Caper’s Spookville, Little Lulu, Dear Justice League, Minecraft, Lucy & Andy Neanderthal, and Spiderman and many others.
