DESCRIPTION:10:00am - 2:00pm\n\n萬聖節的南瓜除了可以吃、可以裝飾、還可以「飛」？\nPumpkin Launch + Engineering Challenge + Carved Pumpkin Contest\n這個一年一度的好玩活動是由 Discovery Science Center 和 Cal State Fullerton 聯合舉辦的，你可以把家裡用不完的南瓜帶來參加升空拋物實驗，看看它能飛多高多遠（需事先報名），或者純粹做觀眾來為小科學家們打氣，現場還有好多好玩的親子遊戲呢！\n\nThe Pumpkin Launch is a free event that features flying pumpkins\, fun family-friendly activities and hands-on challenges like a carved-pumpkin contests\, catapult contests\, live music and other entertainment.\n\nJoin Discovery Cube at Cal State Fullerton from 10am to 2pm for our annual Pumpkin Launch event!\n- Participate in hands-on activities and challenges\n- Witness flying pumpkins launched by giant trebuchets\n- Bring a carved pumpkin for our pumpkin carving contest (must be pre-carved)\n- Enjoy food from your favorite gourmet food trucks\n\nBring your lawn chairs and witness history at this free event as teams compete to see who can launch a pumpkin at targets using giant trebuchets and other devices. Plus\, kids can participate in hands-on activities throughout the day. Don’t miss this great family event!\n\nThis free event draws huge crowds to Cal State Fullerton’s Titan Stadium and appeals to children and adults of all ages. You and your kids can get your geek on and meet the student engineers at the university. Bring your own carved pumpkin if you like.\n\n
