DESCRIPTION:TIME: ​10:00am-12:00pm\n \nScreening of Home of My Heart film\nDirected by Can To; Produced by Jenny Le\n \nAward-winning Hong Kong film director Can To’s Home of My Heart will be screened at the Chinese Family History Group of Southern California’s April 22 meeting. The 45-minute documentary film will be presented with Chinese and English subtitles.  Commentary for the film will be provided by Munson Kwok\,\n\nHome of My Heart tells the story of Melody Chan\, a young woman determined to preserve the home of her ancestors; a place on the brink of drastic changes. Melody’s journey takes her from Hong Kong to San Francisco and then back again to Hong Kong.  The journey begins in Taishan; a small region in Guangdong Province known for the large number of immigrants to the United States during the 19th century. The film tells the story of one great-great-great-great-great-granddaughter's path
