SUMMARY:The Nottingham Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Nottingham Festival\, a Traditional Renaissance Faire in Simi Valley\, CA\, is looking for all types of performers for its 5th anniversary on the first two weekends of November (4/5\, 11/12)!  We are seeking actors to play characters on stage and in the streets as well as already polished stage acts that celebrate the Elizabethan or Shakespearean genre!  Some roles may require rehearsals beforehand\, but not all. So\, if you juggle\, sing\, act\, or any form of entertain and think this might be the gig for you\, come audition!\n\nIn Addition!  If you have a Western themed talent or act\, you can also audition for Tumbleweeed\, Our Western festival in its second year\, on November 18 & 19.  We would love to see what western talents you may have to share!\n\nRoles range from volunteer to contracted paid performer to contracted stage act.\n\nAuditions will be held two days\, one in each location.  First is Saturday\, August 12 in Simi Valley from 10 to Noon and then 1 to 3 at the Simi Elementary School (ARTS Cultural Enrichment Center)\, in the MPR on the corner of Deodora and School Street. The address is 2956 School St.\, Simi 93065.\n\nOn Sunday\, they will be in North Hollywood from 9 to Noon at Madilyn Clark Studios @ 10852 Burbank Blvd.\, North Hollywood\, CA 91601.\n\nWhile these are open auditions\, we would appreciate a heads up if you plan on attending.  Please send an email to DanWill at NottinghamFestival dot com with location\, date\, and time you plan to attend.  We will respond with confirmation or suggestion as to an alternate time if that slot is really full.  Also\, feel free to let us know which event you would like to do and in what capacity you are hoping to perform.\n\nLooking forward to seeing you there!\nDanWill McCann ~ Entertainment Director for the Nottingham Festival and Tumbleweed Events
