DESCRIPTION:\n\nSome are born great\, some achieve greatness\, and some have greatness thrust upon 'em. Prepare for thrusting greatness as this season's free Shakespeare in Griffith Park begins with Twelfth Night.\n\nThe 2019 Independent Shakespeare Company presents free Shakespeare in Griffith Park. There will be two plays are performed this summer.\n\nTwelfth Night begins June 29\n\nPericles begins July 27\nCheck out our review from a previous season and tips for enjoying the evening.\nThere is no seating at the venue; bring your own blanket or low-backed lawn chair. It can get pretty chilly in the evenings so you'll want a jacket. Concessions are available for purchase or you can bring your own picnic.\n\nParking is free and plentiful\, but can be a little confusing. Check the website for directions.\n\nSelected dates have pre-show activities:\n\nPlayers in the Park begin at 5:00pm\n\nFree workshops for families about the play and Shakespeare's language. Participants take a backstage tour\, and try out the ISC stage.
