DESCRIPTION:Time: 10:00am to 5:00pm\n\nBooks\, books\, everywhere!  (And lots of authors\, too.)\n\nThe LA Times Festival of Books is LA's biggest and best known book festival.\n\nOnce again held on the USC Campus\, the festival is two days filled with panel discussions\, author readings\, performances\, and booths from booksellers\, publishers\, and more.  The Reading by 9 Children's Stage features performances throughout both days geared for kids. Older kids can check out the author appearances at the YA Stage. All outdoor entertainment is free and requires no ticket.\n\nTickets are required to attend all indoor Conversations. They are free but limited and are distributed starting April 15 (service fees apply). A limited amount of tickets for each Conversation\, while supplies last\, are also distributed at the festival ticketing booth — free of service charges. The booth will open at 9 a.m. on each day of the festival.\n\n
