DESCRIPTION:Grand Avenue Arts: All Access showcases major cultural institutions in DTLA. The free one-day event features performances\, exhibitions\, behind-the-scenes tours\, and interactive family-friendly activities.\n\nThe event takes place at venues along Grand Ave. between Temple and Sixth.  Participating institutions include The Broad Museum\,  Colburn School\, Grand Park\, Grand Performances\, LA Chamber Orchestra\,  LA Opera\, Los Angeles Public Library\, Los Angeles Philharmonic\, MOCA\, The Music Center and REDCAT.\n\nThe events are too numerous to list here\, but a few highlights include:\n\n\tA sing-along at Colburn Music Academy\n\tAn instrument petting zoo and music workshops with the LA Phil at Walt Disney Concert Hall\n\tA sugar skull workshop at the  LA Central Library at Grand Park\n\tA scavenger hunt at the Broad Museum\n\tDia de los Muertos altars at Grand Park\n\tBackstage tours at LA Opera\n\tScreenings of family friendly short films at REDCAT\n\nAll events are free; reservations are not required.
