DESCRIPTION:Purr-fect!  The Santa Monica Library celebrates Caturday with a fun-filled day of cat-tivities and real kitties.\n\nThe day starts with storytime in the Children's Activity Room\, with cat stories\, kitty songs and feline fingerplays.  (10:30am)\n\nGuests can visit the Catty Wagon to cuddle rescued kittens\, and maybe find a fur-ever feline friend in this mobile adoption vehicle created just for cats. ( 10:30 am to 1:30 pm\, Library parking lot)\n\nOther fun includes decorating cat ears for yourself and making a feathery cat toy\, (supplies limited) (North Courtyard)(11am to 1pm); getting tips on choosing the right pet for your family from Santa Monica Animal Shelter staff. (North Courtyard)(11am to 1pm)\,  and a screening of Kedi\, an award-winning documentary about cats that roam freely through Istanbul\, (1pm\,  MLK Jr Auditorium) (Tickets required: Free tickets distributed at noon).
