Join Discovery Cube and Cal State University\, Fullerton at Cal State Fullerton’s athletic field for a day of flight\, engineering\, and pumpkin-smashing hijinks on Saturday\, November 3rd from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. \nWhat is Pumpkin Launch? Pumpkin Launch is a free-community event that invites guest to come onto a university campus and participate in a fun-filled STEM festival. The headlining event invites local engineer clubs and student Pumpkin Launch contestants to use the principles of STEM to build trebuchet machines that send pumpkins high in the sky and towards large targets lining the field – sometimes more than 50 yards! The team with the highest score wins the coveted Pumpkin Launch trophy! \nIn typical Discovery Cube fashion\, guests can become an engineer for the day by making\, building\, and testing their own launchers at the hands-on learning encounters and STEM festival.Plus\, enjoy some of OC’s best food trucks\, have a bite and keep your energy up. \nCal State Fullerton’s athletic field is located at 800 N.
