\n\n\n \nfrom left: Margaret with her kids\, Caleb (3) & Sophia (6); Catherine with her girls\, Erika (6) & Andrea (11)\n\n家長的心聲\n 由於粵語班難找，所以班上有不少學生是從很遠的地區來上課的，可是這並沒有打擊家長送孩子來上課的決心。

SUMMARY:LA Boat Show – By Angeline Nim
DESCRIPTION:  \n\nIf you want to apply for becoming a junior journalist\, click here for details\n\nAngeline Nim\n\n\nThe LA Boat Show is very interesting! Once you step in the door you’ll see different type of boats in front of your eyes.\n\n\n  \n \nI tried out the Surf Boat Game at first. There are couple kinds of boat for you to ride on. You can choose the one could sit down or to choose the one that you must stand up. If you choose the stand up one you have to be very careful because you could fall into the water if you’re out of balance. I pick the stand up one with my friend. We have lots of fun of riding the boat.\n \n  \n\nNext I tried the power boat docking challenge. It challenges your brain\, hand and eye co-ordination. I had to go two levels to get the boat inside the little decking. Here are some tips; you have to be careful and not to go too fast when you move the boat; otherwise you will bump and your boat will fall out. \n \n\n\nNow here is my favorite part. We have the chance to interview the crew members from Radio Disney. I asked them few questions like how they got the job and how do they like it so far. After the interview we’d play some games together and dance together. We all have lots of fun with the DJs.\n\n\n    \n \nThe last thing we do at the boat show is to tour inside some of the boat; it was amazing!\n \nThis is the LA Boat Show!\n\n

SUMMARY:L A Boat Show ~ by Junior Journalist Ashley W.
DESCRIPTION:\nIf you want to apply for becoming a junior journalist\, click here for details\nAshley Wang (age 11)\n \n   \nMy experience at the LA boat show was great. There\, we did fun activities and interviewed people. We first did some kayaking\, we sit in a canoe and use our paddles/oars to get around the pool. Some people were using the padi\, but I used the canoe. At first\, I was scared to go on\, but it was really easier than I thought. \nEveryone was having fun. And after I got off\, I wanted to do it again!  My next activity was remote controlled boat docking. The goal was to park the boat in one of those little spaces. This experience was kind of fun because we got to try using a remote control and parking it. \nIt was pretty challenging! Lastly\, we went to Radio Disney to play games about water safety and win prizes. We played a matching game\, a game where you pass a water bottle\, and dances. Another game we played was trying to decipher pictures. \n  \nThen\, we interviewed the Disney DJs\, I met nice people that made me felt like I was one of them too!  I asked one of the DJS 2 questions. \nThe first one was\, “What do you like about being a Disney DJ?” She told me she liked working with Disney and their characters. She also said she liked meeting cool people like us! My second question for her was\, “How often do you go to Disneyland?” She told me she goes at least once a week. \nAt that moment\, I thought that was awesome! She said she had a pass for it so it was really easy for her to go. And again\, that was awesome too.  Next\, we played a matching game and got more prizes. Then\, the DJs gave us coloring books and we all took a group picture.  I think going to this boat show was a great experience!\n\n#####\n\nIf you want to apply for becoming a junior journalist\, click here for details\n\n\n\n

SUMMARY:L A Boat Show ~ by Junior Journalist Alvin.
DESCRIPTION: \n\nIf you want to apply for becoming a junior journalist\, click here for details\n\nAlvin Wong\n\n\n             \n\nI am writing an essay about how we enjoyed the boat show. When I first went into the center\, I thought it was boring because there were only 2 boats but when I went in the place where all the boats are\, I was so excited that I wanted to ride on one of the boats. The very funniest part for me was that I got to row a canoe but my pants got wet only cause of Angeline making her petal swing to me. The thing that was weird was that I was near falling off the canoe and getting wet and that's why I didn't want to copy auntie Ann going on the huge surfboard because if I did\, I would surely fall off and maybe\, you know\, catch a cold and going to the doctor. \n \n       \n\n \nOur favorite part was when we were on the surfboard. The thing that was very challenging was on the surfboard because I had to keep my balance on it and the surfboard controller made the surfboard to full speed so it was very hard to keep my balance on it and that's how I fell off of the surfboard. We also had a fantastic time with Radio Disney. We had fun guessing the cards when we were with Radio Disney. Angeline told me that one of the prizes that they would give in Radio Disney was a iPod touch and that's why I tried to play and win in all of the games in order to win the iPod touch. I and Brandon had a wonderful time at the boat show and that's why we thank you Anne Yi Yi and Auntie Ann for inviting us to the boat show.\n\n      \n          \n \n      \n\nIf you want to apply for becoming a junior journalist\, click here for details\n\n\n \n\n
