DESCRIPTION:為了配合 LEGO Batman 電影上映造勢，加州樂高樂園連續兩個週末 (2/18-19\, 2/25-26) 舉辦 BATMAN Movie 電影活動日。\n\n丫丫小記者 Bianca 和 Kyle 都是蝙蝠俠迷，兩人特地來到 LEGOLAND 參加主題活動，與裝酷又可愛的主角蝙蝠俠和 Gotham City's Caped Crusader 互動合照，還下載了全新手機程式，參加了好玩的 Batman 主題有獎尋寶遊戲、砌積木比賽、和有趣的「與蝙蝠俠一起抓壞人」電子遊戲呢！\n\n一起跟上小記者的腳步到 LEGOLAND 玩個痛快吧！\n\n\n\n\n\nLego Batman Movie Days at Legoland \nBy Kyle Chiu\n\n  \n\nOn February 19\, 2017\, two Lajaja Junior Journalist went to Legoland for the Lego Batman Movie Days which is open on certain weekends of February and is also going to be open on March 10-31.\n\nOn the day the Lajaja Journalist came\, they had a app to download in order to get these nice things like discount on the food\, and the first clue for the scavenger hunt.\n\nThere were very exciting events on that day. The most exciting event in my opinion was the scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt first starts when you get into the park. You should be able to spot a tent there where you will be given a sheet for the scavenger hunt and a free Batman Mask\,. Then\, what you need to do was there are 6 Lego villains and they all are hold a letter to the secret word and they all are from the new Lego Batman movie. All the people that can finish the letter finding to unlock the secret and turn in the slip will be entered into a drawing that you might be the winner. The winner will get a prize of Lego Batman sets.\n\n\n\nThen there is the picture puzzle event. All the people who participate will be given a 36 studded Lego board. The boards are color-coded and you’re supposed to place 1 studded pieces of bricks onto the board until it is fully covered. Each one of these tiles is part of a puzzle that will be placed together to form a mural of a scene from the Lego Batman Movie.\n\n \n\nAnother event that was on for the new movie was the Lego Batman build and race a Batmobile contest. First there are the Lego pieces that are from Lego Batman Lego sets. Then\, the people use them to build a car and race with them. My car was not as successful because the wheels were too small. Therefore\, if you want to build a Batmobile\, I would recommend using bigger-sized wheels.\n\nThere was also a place behind the Big Shop where there is a certain time when each Lego Batman character come out so you could take pictures with them.\n\nThere was also this place where the people used Lego blocks to build different structures so by the end of someday\, staff members will could use those blocks to build a life-sized Lego Batman and Robin.\n\nAfter participating in those events\, my family and I went to the other rides like the kid power tower and the Ninjago Ride. The park was really fun that day and that I really liked it\, and I hope that you all get a chance to go to Legoland soon\, where awesome awaits.\n\n\n\nA Brick-tastic Adventure: The Lego Batman Movie Days\nBy: Bianca Chiu\, La JaJa Kids Junior Journalist\n\n \n\nHow many of you guys know that the new Lego Batman Movie was released on February 10\, 2017? Yes\, that’s right\, and as a result\, Legoland California is now hosting the Lego Batman Movie Days to celebrate the event. I heavily advise you to get your tickets now\, because the event will only last from February 18-19 and 25-26!\n\nFortunately\, two LaJaJa Kids Junior Journalists got the chance to participate in this event while it was still in progress on February 19\, 2017. During that time\, they were able to have fun in many special activities that were created especially for the Movie Days including character greet/meets and my personal favorite\, the scavenger hunt.\n\nIn order to win the scavenger hunt\, you are to follow a list of five clues that lead you to different places in Miniland. In those places\, you will have to spot different minifigures that depict villains from the Lego Batman Movie like Joker and Harley Quinn. They will each be holding a letter that you later have to unscramble to uncover the mystery word. Once you find all those letters\, there will be one blank space left. In order to uncover what letter goes in the blank space\, you are told to download the Lego app\, which is highly recommended. Not only will you get the missing letter\, but you will also receive offers and discounts for restaurants and gift shops inside the park. After you unscramble the six letters that you found from the scavenger hunt to reveal a Batman-related word\, you will be able to enter in a raffle\, where you could possibly win a Batman set that includes a mask and several Lego sets.\n\n\n\nAfter the scavenger hunt\, one of the journalists decided to participate in the Batmobile Build\, where participants attempt to build a car that they will afterwards enter in a race of speed against other vehicles build by visitors. Although the small-wheeled mobile of the journalist didn’t win\, he was still given a ribbon for participation.\n\nAnother very special event that the two were able to enjoy was the Mystery Mosaic Lego Build. The purpose of this was to have each participant complete a single tile that would be put together with others to complete a mural of a scene from the Lego Batman Movie. Since each piece of the tile was color-coded\, everyone was able to assemble the tiles in a short amount of time. After completion\, these were given to a Legoland employee\, who would help fit your tile onto the right spot according to the number written on the backside. The final mural would be revealed at the end of the day.\n\n\n\nLast but not least\, the journalists were able to engage in the Life Size Lego Character Build\, where they were able to create parts that would soon be part of a kid-sized sculpture of Batman and Robin. Since nobody knew what to do\, the staff members supplied the eager participants with an example framework\, which the journalists would attempt to reconstruct\, but with a different color.\n\nIf you go to Legoland during these Movie Days\, not only will you be able to join in on these exciting Batman activities\, but you will also be able to enjoy various attractions including the new Ninjago Ride. Millions have. Harlem Globetrotters' amazing basketball skills\, they turned sports into entertainment! On February 21\,2016\, three Lajaja Kids junior journalists(Aaron\, Kyle and I) went to the Harlem Globetrotters basketball game at Citizens Business Bank Arena Stadium.\n\nWhen we arrived at stadium\, we received our magic Passes; this pass allows us to have the access to meet and greet with the players. We are the only media used the Magic Pass. I got a autography from one of the player. They are so tall I look like a midget standing right next to them. We also had chance to dress up like a Globetrotter. That was amazing! We got to interview with the players after 20 minutes of playing and exploring. I found many interesting facts from the interview\, such as how long have them been playing and their favorite tricks. After interviewing the players\, we found seats. Our seats were at courtside!!!\n\nDuring the game\, they did so many ball tricks and interacted with audience. My favorite part was when Big Easy took chicken sliders from Aaron. That made me laughed so hard.\n\nThis was a great experience. I love to play basketball with my brother. Now I'm ready to practice some of their moves and tricks!\n\n  \n\n\n\nThe Best Gift at the Harlem Globtrotters’ Basketball Game\nby Aaron Estrada\n\nI enjoyed my evening at Harlem Globetrotters basketball game on Saturday\, February 20\, 2016 at the Citizens Business Bank Arena. I have never watched a basketball game with players so funny and skilled. This was the first live game I have been to except for the jr. basketball practice ones with my old team.  I have been on a jr. beginners basketball team a before\, and I also play basketball at noon at school. The Harlem Globetrotters were the best players ever. They can make really long shots and tricks. My favorite move I saw them do was sliding and dribbling. That was my favorite move.\nMy night actually did not start out too great. When we got there at least thirty minutes early for the Magic Pass time\, I had a really bad stomachache. I was not feeling well. We had to go find a restroom and we ended up arriving just in time to go in. This was the first time this had ever happen\, but I survived. As soon as we stepped into the building\, I already love it. The Magic Pass time was really awesome.  We got to get in different lines and learn tricks from the Harlem Globetrotter players. We also got to get their autographs. I enjoyed that part. Then we had to do the interview. Before the interview\, I watched a lot of videos and prepared questions for five players I thought I was going to interview.  I also memorized the opening and questions. When the players came out\, I was only familiar with TNT since the other two players were not on my list of assignment to research. I was also first up and had to make up questions as they were filming. Luckily the players were very nice and I asked the questions I can think about in that second. We interviewed Hacksaw\, Flip\, and TNT. You can see it in the video.\nThen we were so lucky to get to sit in the front row bench seat right next to the basket. That was the coolest part ever. During the 3rd quarter Big Easy came over and ate my nugget. Then I got five bucks for that. That was cool and funny. But Big Easy was fouled and left. There were only five players remaining that are playing fairly. The rest were out.\nIn the end Globetrotters had 4 players\, but then Big Easy came out and saw that the rule book was fake. So then all players were in and not out. However\, they changed the score 87 to 91 so the other team could win. Finally the Globetrotters kept the other team at 91 and won by 4 points.  After the game\, we got to get in line to have get more autographs from the Harlem Globetrotters. I had the most unlucky start in my night with a lot of things not going right\, but felt the luckiest boy ever to see the Harlem Globetrotters play up front. We had a fun time! This was the best gift ever!\nThank you to lajajakids and to the Harlem Globetrotters!\n   \n\n\n\nMy Interview with Harlem Globetrotters \nby Kyle Chiu\n\nOn February 20th\, 2016\, we\, the Lajaja Kids Junior Journalists\, interviewed three players of the team ‘’The Harlem Globetrotters’’ during their 90th year anniversary of playing their games in the Citizens Business Bank Arena (Ontario\, CA). These players are famous for winning and breaking many world records. I cannot believe that I am lucky enough to get the chance to interview them! When we arrived\, we went into the “Magic Ticket Time” for 15 minutes to meet and take picture with them.\n            Then\, we went backstage to interview the 3 players: TNT\, Flip\, and Hacksaw. Here are the questions I asked:\n1)      Q: Why are you basketball players so tall?\nA: I am tall because of my family relation and I eat very healthy. \n2)      Q: How do you know so many tricks?\nA: Of course because we practice a lot of hours every day.\n3)      Q: How long do you practice?\nA: We practice hours during the time we aren’t playing games.\n  \n After the interview\, I waited in line and got the teams autograph. Later on\, we watched the game of The Globetrotters versus The All Stars. At the beginning of the game\, the cheerleaders were performing and dancing to motivate the players.  The game was full of fun tricks and humor that made everyone laugh. In the middle of the action\, one of the player even got his pants taken off! They also did many funny things with the audience like stealing French fries from another junior journalist. One player took the purse from one of the audience and gave it to the coach. Their mascot also came out to make entertainment. Sometimes the ball would fall into the audience. The teams had 2 free shots and the Globetrotters got two and the All Stars got 0 because at one part a Globetrotter was hiding behind and took off the pants of an All Stars member. When TNT gave him the ball\, he shot but instead of falling into the hoop\, it flew in the air\, it was actually a balloon!\nDuring the resting time\, the team got a cup of water and his teammate slapped it out of his hand and sprinkled into the audience. When the players were resting they threw out their clothes to the audience as souvenir. They also sold balls at both ends of the court.\nWe had a wonderful time spending the night in the Arena.
