The Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards is sponsored by the toy industry itself to recognize the top toys available this holiday season. Though there are many toy awards programs, these finalists have been nominated from within the industry and are being voted on by toy companies, toy retailers, and consumers (you!). The TOTY Awards are frequently referred to as the “Oscars” of the industry.
年度最佳玩具大獎將會由消費者，玩具協會會員，玩具零售商，記者，博客和相關學者一同選出，作為消費者的我們占投票結果的25%。投票將於2015年1月11日結束。頒獎禮將於2月13日舉辦，屆時將會公佈年度最佳玩具大獎的得獎名單。
The TOTY 2015 voting process includes input from not only consumers, but also members of the Association, retailers, journalists, bloggers and academics. Voting closes Sunday, January 11th, at which point votes will be tallied. The winners will be announced during a celebration in New York on February 13th.
Five weighted ballots – one each for consumers (25%), mass and specialty retailers (40% combined), journalists and bloggers (20%), and members of the Toy Industry Association (15%)

- -- Visit www.ToyAwards.org (“Web site”), where you will be able to indicate your favorite of seven (7) toy, game or property finalists in each of twelve (12) categories.
- -- Register by entering your name and email address and confirming that you have read and agree to the Official Rules. Proceed by completing one, some, or all of the ballot categories.
- -- If you vote in at least one category, you will then have the opportunity to vote for the People’s Choice Award from among the toys you’ve voted for in your chosen category(ies).
- -- Once you make your choice, you will be asked to “Submit” your entry. Each entry received and recorded by the Promotion computer during the Promotion Period qualifies as one (1) entry into the Promotion.

The Genius of Play initiative celebrates the many proven benefits of play … and encourages parents and caregivers to make play an important part of your child’s day!
Play isn’t just an after-school or weekend activity — it’s an important aspect of a healthy and well-rounded childhood, and should be a part of every kid’s day. Research shows that toys and games of all kinds help develop and improve children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and motor skills. Play also helps kids master important lifelong skills, strengthens familial bonds, and molds the children of today into the leaders of tomorrow!
To help educate parents and caregivers about the many benefits of play, the Toy Industry Association (TIA) has launched “The Genius of Play” initiative. Through a 60-second video, the campaign shows how kids routinely use toys and play to navigate the world in inventive and surprising ways. An infographic highlights facts about the vital role of toys and play in successful child development.
