SUMMARY:帕薩迪娜街頭粉筆畫嘉年華
DESCRIPTION:10am - 7pm\n\n巴沙迪那粉筆節被封稱為世界最大的粉筆畫比賽，粉筆節從1993年起每年六月舉行，至今已有超過二十年歷史，每年吸引來自全球各地藝術家參加，且參加人數年年增加，主辦單位多次打破世界金氏紀錄，成為最多人街頭繪畫活動。\n\n為期兩天的巴沙迪那粉筆節規定參加畫家必須在兩天內完成所有作品，每年耗費超過兩萬五千多根彩色粉筆，雖然要蹲坐在水泥地上畫畫，加上炎熱的天氣，連續畫上幾個小時非常耗體力 ，因此參賽者多以年青人或學生為主，成為他們盡情揮灑創意的機會。\n\n參加活動的藝術家可自行決定繪畫主題，每年少不了的是歷史人物、電影明星、卡通人物到大自然等主題，異國風格、刺青、古典、抽象圖騰和聖經故事也是常見的作品，除了個人組，也有人選擇靠團隊合作完成更壯觀作品，由於週末正好是父親節，該活動也成為許多參加者們送父親禮物的機會。\n\n最後將由評審將頒發十多個類別的繪畫獎項，民眾可與專家一同投票選出前三名，另其他獎項包括最佳名作、最佳技法、最佳創意、最佳幽默、最佳卡通、最佳立體3D等，希望街頭繪畫藝術發揚光大。\n\nHundreds of artists come from all across Southern California to spend two days on their hands and knees creating spectacular chalk murals on concrete areas in every style imaginable.\n\nIn addition to the extraordinary opportunity to watch artists at work\, guests are treated to live music an entertainment throughout the weekend.
