DESCRIPTION:Arts + Science = Family Fun at the first Beckman Arts and Science Family Festival coming to the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Join us for FREE entertainment and hands-on activities for the curious of all ages.\n\nExplore 21st Century learning and join the next generation of innovators as families come together to create\, innovate and explore the connections between Science and the Arts. The day will be filled with engaging performances\, interactive exhibits and hands-on activities featuring:\n• Discovery Cube\n• Irvine Public Schools Foundation\n• Orange County Children's Book Festival\n• Orange County School of the Arts\n• PBS SoCal\n• Kids@Science Foundation\n• Magikid Robotics Lab\n• National College Resources Foundation's STEAM Mobile\n• Brain Builders\n• Science Heads\n• Doktor Kaboom!\n• Jargie the Science Girl\n• Dino Encounters\n• Aman's Dancing Storytellers\n• The MoonRays\n• Segerstrom Center's oversided Building Kits\n• Free Train Rides\n\nTo continue the family fun\, purchase a ticket and head inside the Samueli Theater for a 1pm performance by Doktor Kaboom! and the Wheel of Science. Help us reach our goal by donating a travel-sized shampoo bottle in person at the Beckman Arts and Science Family Festival then join us at the 3rd Annual Center Salutes Our Veterans on November 11 to assemble a care package for a soldier in need!
