DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nSanta Monica Library celebrates puppy love with four-legged fun for all ages\, including Family Story Time with Mayor Gleam Davis.\n\nKids can  read to a dog with Paws 2 Read\, (call 310-458-8621 to reserve a time slot).\n\nAmong the ten Canine Crafts & Activities are turning your small dog photo into a button and decorating a doggy bandana. Guests can learn about pet adoption and other services from the Santa Monica Animal Shelter\, Forte Animal Rescue\, and Michelson Found Animal Foundation.\n\nAt 1pm\, there is a screening of the  "dog-umentary" Pick of the Litter\, which tells the tail of 5 pups trying to become guide dogs.\n\nNOTE: This event is for human dog-lovers only! Please leave your dog at home\, as pets are NOT allowed in the Library.\n\n
