DESCRIPTION:OC Parks invites children and families to learn all about bugs and butterflies! Come tour Riley Wilderness Park’s butterfly garden at this free\, family-friendly event. Learn all about unique and unusual insects and how to attract bugs and butterflies to your own garden. Event and parking are free!\n\nSpecial guests include Mimi the Monarch Butterfly and Western Monarch Guardians!\n\nExplore educational stations\, informative exhibits and live anthropod friends. Plant and insect experts will be available to provide educational information and answer questions.\n\nAdditional activities include a live butterfly enclosure\, children’s face painting\, native plant sales\, storytelling\, park tours and arts and crafts. There will also be a live butterfly release at 3 p.m. A food truck will be on-site serving delicious culinary creations for a nominal fee.
