A team of Oscar-winning producers are working on a film about the life and controversial death of Vincent Van Gogh.

Called “Loving Vincent”, the film will be a feature-length hand-painted animation. According to reports, it is a technique that no one has ever tried.

Loving Vincent is a painted animation feature film, looking into the mystery of Vincent Van Gogh’s death, told through the medium of his paintings.

“Well, the truth is, we cannot speak other than by our paintings”
…wrote Vincent Van Gogh in his last letter.

Film Studio BreakThru Films, and Painter-Director Dorota Kobiela, take him at his word, and bring Vincent’s paintings to life to tell the story of the last days of this towering genius.
